My NipissingSchulich School of EducationA group of 28 fourth-year concurrent education students at Nipissing Brantford are combining the trip of a lifetime with their teaching placement this year as they embarked on a three-week trip to the Masai Mara region of Kenya on April 28.The students raised about $2,400 to purchase supplies needed for their lessons in Kenya. -

Remembering Dr. George Zytaruk
My NipissingNipissing University offers condolences to the family and friends of Dr. George Zytaruk, who passed away on April 12. A visionary academic and administrator, Dr. Zytaruk was Nipissing’s founding president, moving from Alberta to North Bay to head the institution in 1967. He was a member of the "Group of Seven," Nipissing’s founding faculty members, and was responsible for hiring the other six members.
