GeneralThe University was shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Jaidyn Phillis on December 17, 2019 in Parry Sound, Ontario as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Jaidyn was a second year student in the Bachelor of Social Work program on the North Bay campus. -

The Scholar Practitioner Program is an innovative second degree nursing program for university graduates offered in partnership with the Michener Institute of Education at UHN, SickKids Hospital, Toronto Public Health and the University Health Network. -
Remembrance Day Observance
GeneralNipissing University wishes to remember the contributions of our veterans who have served in war and peace-keeping duties over the years. On November 11, representatives from the University will be attending the municipal ceremony at Memorial Gardens. On campus, as an expression of observance, we will be holding a ceremony at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, November 11th in the Nipissing Theatre (F213). We encourage everyone to attend a local Remembrance Day service. -
