Nipissing will confer 1,592 degrees this week in six separate convocation ceremonies. As well, the university will honour five outstanding leaders with an honorary degree.

The expertise of Nipissing University’s Math and Computer Science department, and the effectiveness of the Science, Engineering and Mathematics Camps, was rewarded by the Federal government on May 22, with the announcement of four prestigious grants from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC).

It’s a time to celebrate students as they complete one portion of their life-long journey seeking knowledge and experience. Convocation is also a time to celebrate some of the people at Nipissing who make continued and lasting contributions to that journey, the university’s dedicated faculty and staff.
