Dellandrea appointed Nipissing University's Chancellor
GeneralDellandrea was recommended by the Chancellor selection committee, which considered and discussed nominations from the university community and other stakeholders. The Chancellor is the titular head of the university and confers all degrees to graduates at Convocation. Dellandrea was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from Nipissing University in June 2010. -

Nipissing University has appointed Dr. Scott Russell as its fifth Chancellor. The award-winning broadcaster and acclaimed author, best known for his hosting roles with CBC Sports and extensive Olympic Games coverage, will begin his four-year term on July 1, 2024.
