Grammar Granny goes to Goa

Nipissing’s own Grammar Granny, Georgia Lyons, has been invited to Chowgule College in Goa, India, for a two week academic program aimed at the college’s faculty and writing centre advisors.The training process will focus on styles of writing, structuring of projects and public speaking. The program will also discuss the appropriate usage of English grammar and vocabulary in writing assignments.
Here at Nipissing, Lyon’s official title is Academic Skills Program Coordinator; however she often uses the more informal handle: Grammer Granny.
