Lakers tested at World Nordic Trials
AthleticsA contingent from Nipissing’s Nordic Varsity Ski team spent the last half of their holiday break in Thunder Bay, competing in their first races of the season. A trio of Lakers put in personal best results against the strongest Nordic racers in the country at the Lappe Ski Center with qualifications for the upcoming World Championships, U23 and World Junior Championships in Liberec, Czech Republic, on the line. -

My NipissingThe votes are being tabulated daily and soon a winner will be crowned in Nipissing’s I Heart NU video contest. The contest, launched this past fall, asked students to shoot a short video or photo montage announcing what they love about Nipissing University.
History, Education, and the Outdoors: Terry Dubroy’s unique approach to teaching
Nipissing University is proud to host alumnus Terry Dubroy for the launch of his solo book, Transformative Education, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on November 29 at the NUSU Student Centre. The community is invited to share in an evening of insightful stories and celebrate education as Dubroy shares the journey that led to his most recent publication, Transformative Education. The book is an exploration of what it means to be an authentic, transformative educator.
