Only a few days remain to enter the Lakers’ Den Business Plan Competition for a chance at securing over $200,000 in business start-up assistance. Interested entrepreneurs must submit a copy of their business plan along with a two-minute video pitch to www.lakersden.ca by Friday, March 16.

Students in Nipissing’s third-year Bachelor of Science inNursing program have the opportunity to learn from experts about best practices for kicking butt.

Recently, six Nipissing University Criminal Justice students competed in the Osgoode Cup National Undergraduate Mooting Competition, held at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School. The students, competing in pairs as three teams, were impressive. Especially considering they were competing against some very experienced mooters from large institutions who have established mooting clubs with coaches, resources and practice competitions.
