Rebecca Misiasz takes top spot in Three Minute Thesis Competition

On Tuesday, March 26, Nipissing highlighted the prowess of its graduate students at its annual Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®) in the Nipissing Theatre. This University-wide event challenges graduate students to present their research to a panel of non-specialist judges in an engaging, compelling way, in under three minutes. -

Nipissing appoints Renée Hacquard as new Vice-President, Finance and Administration

Hacquard will succeed outgoing Vice-President, Cheryl Sutton, who will be retiring at the end of June following a 14-year tenure with the University. -

Nipissing professor receives $1.47 million in federal funding for climate change research
GeneralResearchCanada Research ChairDr. Colin McCarter, Assistant Professor at Nipissing University and Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Climate and Environmental Change, has been awarded an Alliance Missions Grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) valued at $1,466,449 to further his team’s work on climate change and ecosystem restoration research.
