2016 Convocation next week

It’s that most wonderful time in the academic year, convocation, when students celebrate their achievements with peers, family and friends before embarking on the next chapter of their lives and their ongoing quest for education. Nipissing will hold four convocation ceremonies, one in Brantford on Tuesday, June 7 at 2:30 p.m.; and three in North Bay on Thursday, June 9 at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Friday, June 10, 9:30 a.m. Each convocation ceremony, including honorary degree speeches, will be streamed live at: www.nipissingu.ca/convocation

Brantford convocation ceremonies will be held in the Sanderson Centre. North Bay convocation ceremonies will be held in the air-conditioned Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre. 

Nipissing will graduate 1,038 students, including 174 students in Brantford, 203 students in the Thursday morning Schulich School of Education graduation, 268 students in the Thursday afternoon Faculty of Arts and Science graduation, and 393 in the Friday morning Faculty of Applied and Professional Schools graduation
