Each year, Nipissing University proudly recognizes the exceptional contributions of its faculty through the Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence, presented during convocation celebrations. These prestigious awards honour faculty members who have excelled in research, teaching, and service, reflecting their dedication and impact on the university community.

Each year, Nipissing University celebrates the recipients of the Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence during its convocation celebrations. These awards are presented to Nipissing faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of research, teaching, or service.

Nipissing University will recognize four outstanding individuals with honorary degrees, the university’s highest distinction, during its upcoming convocation celebrations, June 14-17, 2022.

Nipissing University will recognize Tom Curry with an honorary degree Doctor of Letters, the university’s highest distinction, during its upcoming virtual convocation celebrations. Curry is a leading trial and appellate lawyer and Managing Partner of Lenczner Slaght LLP, Canada’s leading litigation firm.
