Victorian Sensationalist Fiction and Whiteness Studies: This project received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). I am currently preparing article for publication: "Discounted Englishness: The Construction and Reification of Englishness in John Marchmont's Legacy, Uncle Silas, and The Woman in White." Reading David Adams Richards through a trauma theory lens.
