About
Dr. Marc Pilon, PhD, CPA, CA is Associate professor of accounting, teaching financial accounting and assurance courses. He obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2009, and prior to joining academia he worked eight years in public accounting and gained experience in the financial, non-profit, and public sectors. In 2019, he obtained his PhD from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University with a dissertation on accountability and governance in Ontario’s health care sector. Marc’s research focuses on how accountability is managed within nonprofit, health care, and public sector organizations.
