Tembec Citizenship Awards

Presented to selected students entering second, third or fourth year at Nipissing University with at least an overall "B" average, who are in one or more of the following categories: 1) they devote significant efforts to volunteer activities to benefit the North Bay or Nipissing University community; 2) they display admirable leadership qualities in the community, in student government, or in other student activities; 3) they actively participate in extra-curricular activities. Selection of the successful candidate is made by the Undergraduat Student Services and Awards Committee. The recipients must demonstrate financial need and be residents of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Nominations are requested from the University community (faculty, staff, and students) in October.
