When the buzzer sounded and the fans began to file out, one thing was clear, everyone was a winner in last Friday’s inaugural Paul Nelson Memorial Hockey Game. The game raised a total of $884 for the Paul Nelson Memorial Scholarship and Kidsport.

Just before Halloween this year, Business students in Nipissing’s Business to Business Marketing class had a great opportunity to apply their learning to a practical setting, organizing the Sleepy Hollow Exhibition.

As they say, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. So, while the Nipissing Lakers were close to victories in weekend matches against the Concordia Stingers and McGill Redmen, it was little consolation.
