AthleticsStudent-athletes considering Nipissing University for their post-secondary education have an added incentive to join the Lakers. Nipissing is pleased to announce new scholarships worth up to $4,000 per year, for qualified students playing on a Lakers varsity team, beginning this fall.
Celebrate Leadership: Nominations sought for 2025 Dave Marshall Leadership Awards
Each year, Nipissing University recognizes exceptional leaders through the Dave Marshall Leadership Awards (DMLA). Help us celebrate the leaders who are inspiring change on campus and beyond by nominating a deserving student by January 31, 2025. Annually, 25 full-time students are recognized with a Dave Marshall Leadership Award. These students have made an outstanding extracurricular contribution to their academic program, to the campus, or to the greater community. They have demonstrated leadership, initiative, commitment, and an ability to motivate and influence others toward the betterment of Nipissing University.
