Nipissing Nordic returns from Italy
AthleticsWith the Nipissing Lakers Nordic Ski team back on Canadian soil after competing in the University Winter Games in Italy, the long trip home and some time off gave them a chance to look back and reflect on the games. Head coach Toivo Koivukoski and skiers Jordan Cascagnette, Thomsen D’Hont and Kajsa Heyes all took part in the event, which brought together some of the best athletes in the world. -

Walking With Our Sisters art exhibit coming to Parry Sound
AlumniMuskokaMy NipissingWalking With Our Sisters is a travelling art installation that honours Canada's missing and murdered Aboriginal women and girls. In Canada, it is estimated that more than 600 Indigenous women and girls have gone missing or have been murdered in the last 20 years. -

Celebrate Leadership: Nominations sought for 2025 Dave Marshall Leadership Awards
Each year, Nipissing University recognizes exceptional leaders through the Dave Marshall Leadership Awards (DMLA). Help us celebrate the leaders who are inspiring change on campus and beyond by nominating a deserving student by January 31, 2025. Annually, 25 full-time students are recognized with a Dave Marshall Leadership Award. These students have made an outstanding extracurricular contribution to their academic program, to the campus, or to the greater community. They have demonstrated leadership, initiative, commitment, and an ability to motivate and influence others toward the betterment of Nipissing University.
