NU grad’s art showcased in library atrium
AlumniThe Harris Learning Library atrium is currently featuring a mixed media installation by Nipissing Bachelor of Fine Arts alumna, Caitlyn Marion (BFA’18). The installation was completed as part of Marion’s final assignments for her degree and was originally displayed in the WKP Kennedy Gallery in downtown North Bay. -
Nipissing honouring three with Alumni Awards
AlumniNipissing University is honouring three exceptional individuals at the annual Alumni Awards celebration: Jennifer Conley (nee Seguin), Chief Advancement Officer and President and CEO of the Carleton University Foundation, is receiving the Dr. James Jamieson Influential Alumni Award; Annie Sumi, singer-songwriter and ethereal-folk artist, receives the Rising Star Alumni Award; and Dr. Matti Saari, Professor of Psychology, will be named an Honorary Alumni.

For Nipissing alumnus Trina Prince, becoming an award-winning advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) has been based on perseverance, passion, and deep commitment to uplifting marginalized voices. Earlier this year, Prince received the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal, awarded to individuals across Canada who have made exceptional contributions to their communities.
