Nipissing University celebrates 2024 Staff and Service Award recipients

Nipissing University proudly celebrated its 2024 Staff & Service Award recipients on November 27, at a ceremony held in the Small Cafeteria on campus. The event brought together faculty, staff, and community members to honour the exceptional contributions and dedicated service of those who go above and beyond to support the university’s mission and values.
"Nipissing is committed to fostering an environment that acknowledges and uplifts the contributions of its community members. Today, we celebrate the incredible individuals who make Nipissing University a vibrant, supportive, and welcoming place for all,” President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kevin Wamsley commented. “Each award recipient has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and has made a lasting difference in the Nipissing community.
Staff and faculty members were celebrated for their dedication and service, with milestone achievements recognized in five-year increments from 5 to 30 years. These anniversaries highlight the remarkable contributions of our team members over the years.

Among the esteemed honorees, Sema Chaudhry, School of Business Coordinator, was recognized with the Support Staff: Exceptional Performance and Service Award. This prestigious accolade highlights Chaudhry’s outstanding dedication, professionalism, and the positive impact she has made within the Nipissing community.
"I am deeply honoured to be recognized among so many hardworking and passionate colleagues. This award reflects the collective efforts of the School of Business team and the wonderful support I’ve received throughout my journey at Nipissing University," Chaudhry shared.
The ceremony concluded with a reception, where attendees enjoyed refreshments and had the opportunity to connect and celebrate the accomplishments of their peers.
