Schulich professor receives distinguished service award
Schulich School of Education professor, Dr. Kurt Clausen, has been selected as the recipient of the 2020 Herbert T. Coutts Distinguished Service Award by the Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE). Clausen was selected for the honour for his outstanding service to CSSE and was presented with the award at the CSSE annual general meeting.
CSSE inaugurated the Herbert T. Coutts Distinguished Service Award for outstanding service in 1997 in honour of its founding president Pete Coutts (1907-1996). Coutts was a giant educational leader and the Society continues to bear his stamp in numerous ways.
