Nipissing hosting virtual Open House this weekend

North Bay, ON – Nipissing University is excited to welcome future students and their supporters to its upcoming virtual Open House this Saturday, November 6.

Students will have the opportunity to discover why Nipissing is right where they belong through a series of live and on-demand engagements. Students can attend program-specific presentations, chat live with students, staff and faculty, ask questions, and hear from representatives from departments across campus including residence, financial aid, student learning transitions and more. A guided virtual tour will also be provided.

“While we wish we were able to host open house in-person, we look forward to connecting with future students virtually to give them a glimpse of what life as a Laker would be like and the exceptional student experience we offer,” says Dr. Arja Vainio-Mattila, Provost & Vice-President, Academic & Research. “We know that students who visit our campus immediately fall in love with the beautiful natural setting, modern infrastructure and sense of community, so we encourage prospective students to book a campus tour to experience it for themselves.”

All those registered for Open House will be entered into a draw to win their Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC) initial fee, valued at $150.
