President DeGagné launches new edition of book on reconciliation

Marking the 10th anniversary of then-prime minister Stephen Harper’s apology in the House of Commons for the government-funded residential school system and its lasting harmful legacy, a new third edition of Speaking My Truth: The Journey to Reconciliation, a book of essays about the dark history of residential schools and concept of reconciliation, was launched.

The Salish Sea Sentinel covered the event in an article you can read here.

Copies of the new edition of the book are available for free and can be obtained by request to mackenzl@nipissingu.ca
