International award for Dr. Haibin Zhu

Dr. Haibin Zhu recently returned from the 2018 IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society (IEEE SMC) international conference where he received the Society’s Meritorious Service Award.

Dr. Zhu received the award in recognition of his outstanding service to SMC Society conferences, technical activities and publications.  Although up to six awards may be bestowed annually, Dr. Zhu was the sole recipient for 2018.

IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.
