Grad turning entrepreneurship course into business
Nipissing graduate Jaret Smith has taken his course work to the next level, launching a sportswear brand from the kernel of an idea first formulated in an Introduction to Entrepreneurship course he enrolled in at NU.
Smith, who graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2018 and played varsity men’s hockey for the Lakers for two years , was recently profiled in the Red Deer Express, a news source from his hometown.

Smith is the second student to put his Entrepreneurship coursework into action. Jeremy Butterworth, also a 2018 graduate and former varsity hockey player, is in the process of launching a fitness-based app.
