The Nipissing Lakers volleyball teams are once again hosting Hunger Spike, inviting all volleyball players aged 8-13 to a two-hour volleyball clinic, Saturday, September 10, at the Robert J. Surtees Athletics Centre from 10 a.m. - noon.
Players will learn about the fundamental skills and technical aspects of volleyball from Lakers coaches and players. The clinic also features Canadian National Team player Steve Wood.
Participants must bring a pair of indoor shoes in order to participate.
Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and the clinic begins at 10 a.m.
In the spirit of community giving, the clinic is offered free-of-charge, with a non-perishable food item or monetary donation towards the Nipissing University Student Food Bank requested in lieu of money.
