NU updating Sexual Violence Prevention Policy

Nipissing University is currently in the process of revising its Sexual Violence Prevention Policy, and input from students, faculty and staff is important to the process.Maclean's magazine recently ranked Nipissing first in Steps Taken to Prevent Sexual Assault. Nipissing strives to create an environment that is free from violence and harassment, where people can be safe and feel secure. The university is committed to providing an experience in which students thrive and realizes the important role the institution can play in addressing sexual violence, supporting survivors and raising public awareness about this serious issue. As an institution we deeply value any conversation about how we can work together to prevent sexual violence and improve campus safety.
