Help a youth or family in need this holiday season

Each Christmas for the past nine years, Nipissing University has helped put a smile on the faces of children and their families by sponsoring them throughThe Children’s Aid Society of the district of Nipissing and Parry Sound sponsorship program.
Want to make a difference this holiday season?  

The Children’s Aid Society of the district of Nipissing and Parry Sound have several youth and families that?need your help.  Unfortunately, youth often go unsponsored at Christmas and this year there are several youths in care between the ages of 16 and 21. 

This Christmas you can feel good about giving back to the community by sponsoring a youth, a single parent family, or a large family.

Since 2013, Nipissing has sponsored more than 200 individuals, providing them with a merrier Christmas, and helping to keep some Christmas spirit, and Christmas magic alive.

“I have three children of my own, and I can't imagine not being able to provide something special for them at Christmas time,” said Melissa Busschaert-Daigle, administrative assistant at Nipissing University, who is helping to connect the university with the Children’s Aid Society. “Christmas is the one time of year that we all believe in a little magic, and this is a great opportunity to give that gift.”
