NU Brantford heading to Italy

Preparatevi, Italia! Nipissing sta arrivando!  Students and faculty from Nipissing’s Brantford campus are brushing up on their Italian in preparation for their May 1 departure on an international teaching practicum in Italy.

There are thirty-nine education students and three faculty members making the trip. The students will experience first-hand what it is like to teach internationally in Sulmona, a city in the province of L’Aquilla in the Abruzzo in central Italy. In preparation for their trip they have completed two successful fundraisers, including a pasta lunch. The money raised will be used to purchase teaching materials and supplies for the trip.
