Italy Practicum Reunion

The students and faculty who travelled to Italy for an International Teaching Practicum last May enjoyed a very successful reunion at Nipissing’s Brantford campus last Friday. 
More than 30 people attended and the students were excited to recount their experiences in Italy and shared photos and scrapbooks. Student Jessika Miller, showed a 30 minute video documenting the various sites and schools of the trip.

Students all attested to the value of the international practicum opportunity and indicated that they are looking forward to applying their learning to future teaching experiences.

Faculty members who participated include: Dr. Kim Eyre, Dr. Susan Elliott-johns and Dr. Maria Cantalini-Williams.

Remaining monies from fundraising efforts were used to purchase pizza and pasta from the local Gran Sasso Restaurant in Brantford for the reunion dinner.?
