Faculty retain Pangaea Cup

The third annual Pangaea Cup soccer match pitting Geography students against faculty was played last Thursday night.  After a hard fought game in the Robert J. Surtees Athletic Centre, the youthful students couldn’t stop the battle-hardened faculty team.
The final score was 14-6 in favour of the faculty who will retain the Pangaea Cup, as well as coveted bragging rights, for another year.

The stands were almost at capacity as many students came out to cheer on their classmates.  NU News is told that the faculty team even had a few supporters for their athleticism.

This marks the third consecutive year that the faculty members have won the Pangaea Cup. As of press time no inquest has been launched to investigate how and why the faculty keep on winning - they are just that good.  Dare we say…dynasty in the making?
