Candidates' debate at Nipissing University

Nipissing University Student Union(NUSU) with the Retired Teachers of Ontario(RTO),Districts 43 and 44, and theCanadore Students’ Council (CSC) are hosting an all-candidates' debate that will focus on senior and student issues this Thursday, September 17, from 2 – 4 p.m. in the Nipissing Theatre (F213).
Leading up to the federal election, the groups want to ensure that the political candidates will address issues that are important to students and the community.  Liberal Candidate Anthony Rota, Green candidate Nicole Peltier, and NDP candidate Kathleen Jodouin have already confirmed their attendance. This event aims to encourage students to become engaged in the vote by bringing student issues to the forefront of this election.

The debate will be followed by town-hall style of questioning from the audience.

After the debate, The Wall Bar & Grill will host a social at 4 – 5:30 p.m.  The event is free of charge and all are welcome.?
