The university’s North Bay campus will welcome more than 600 special guests, including prospective students, their families and friends, this Saturday, October 26, 2013 for the annual Fall Open House. Guests from near and far will be visiting the campus, with visitors from the North Bay area, and from across the province, registered to attend.

Congratulations to Dr. Gillian McCann, assistant professor in the department of Religions and Cultures, on winning a 2013 Heritage Toronto Award of Merit for her book Vanguard of the New Age: The Toronto Theosophical Society 1891-1945.

Nipissing’s Award Winners Speaker Series gets political on October 29, at 7 p.m. in the Harris Learning Library with Dr. David Tabachnick discussing How Big is that Crucifix?: The Charter of Quebec Values as an Attack on Multiculturalism.

That weekend you circled on your calendar — the one with the amazingly fun Tailgate Party, the Alumni Awards, the Nearly Naked Mile and all the hockey action — that weekend is here! That’s right, folks, it’s Homecoming 2013!
