Lakers women volleyball going for gold

The Nipissing Lakers women's volleyball team begins their quest for gold this Thursday at 1 p.m. against the Georgian Grizzlies at Trent University, andyou can watch it live, here.The Lakers finished second in the OCAA West Division standings with a 15-3 regular season record and received an automatic bye to the provincial championship. The Georgian Grizzlies finished the regular season with a 15-5 record and defeated Sheridan College in the cross-over playoff match 3-1.
The OCAA will host its annual awards banquet Thursday morning and then games will begin at 1 p.m.
