Downtown Block Party!
See you this Saturday at the Downtown Block Party, hosted by Canadore College with the DIA and Nipissing University!11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012.
All are welcome to attend and admission is free! Nipissing students who attend will get a free backpack of goodies simply by showing their student card at the registration table located at Main Street and Ferguson Street.
Main Street will be closed down from Sherbrooke to Fraser for awesome street activities including:
- Beer Sampling
- Skateboard/Longboard/Scooter Competition
- Sumo Suits
- Scavenger Hunt
- BBQ
- Buskers
- Music
- Popcorn
- Cotton Candy
- 3-on-3 Basketball
- Road Hockey
- Chalk Art and More!
There will be free transportation from residence to the Bus Terminal (and back) in 15 minute increments for the duration of the party.
