National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
In memory of the lives lost at École Polytechnique, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women - commonly known as White Ribbon Day - will be observed with a series of events to honour victims and promote awareness of gender-based violence.
Consent Belongs Here will distribute luminaries and white ribbons in the NU Hallway on December 3 and 4 (11 AM – 1 PM) and December 6 (9 AM – 12 PM).
On December 6, participants are invited to light luminaries in their offices as a powerful display of solidarity with victims and survivors of gender-based violence.
These events are part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
