Nipissing University is looking for casual Caretakers to assist with short-term contracts and to cover special events at the University in the evenings and/or weekends.  The shifts may vary from early morning to evening depending upon the needs of the department.  Reporting to the Caretaker Supervisor, the Caretaker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of various Nipissing University buildings and surrounding grounds and area. 

The successful candidate will have a Grade 12 Diploma, combined with one year of relevant work experience. Electrical and mechanical experience, experience with building systems and components, WHMIS Training, and CPR and First Aid Training would be considered an asset. The successful candidate must provide a negative Criminal Record Check prior to the employment start date (i.e. not been convicted of a criminal offence for which a pardon has not been granted).
