**Tuition, Ancillary, SIP and UHIP fee rates are set out one academic year at a time. The rates for the current 2024/2025 academic year are listed below. Nipissing University reserves the right to modify published fees and the regulations governing refunds without advance notice.**
Fee Breakdown:
Tuition per Term = $8,500.00 for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
Student Fees per Term = $378.16*
Student Insurance Plan = $370.76 ** once per calendar year, normally in the Fall**
UHIP Fees may vary based on the length of time a student is living in Canada.
2024-2025 UHIP* fees are $756.00 for a full year, may be subject to change each year. (*University Health Insurance Plan)Extension Fee: (Terms 7, 8, and 9)
$1000.00 per Term + $378.16 Ancillary fees + SIP** + UHIP as applicable
Balance of Degree Fee:
MRP: Students will be charged the minimum fee, regardless of completing their degree early. (Based on your programs time/terms to complete your degree as outlined)
Thesis: Students will be charged the minimum fee, regardless of completing their degree early. (Based on your programs time/terms to complete your degree as outlined)
After Thesis Defense Completed:
$500.00 per Term (flat rate, no ancillary fees)
Fee Credit/Refund Deadline date for a complete Program withdrawal are as follows:
Fall Term - 100% before September 16th - 0% credit thereafter.
Winter Term - 100% before January 17th - 0% credit thereafter.
Spring/Summer Term - 100% before May 9th - 0% credit thereafter.
