Job Description:

  • Volunteer STEM Summer Gala Coordinator
  • Location: Remote – Work from anywhere with an internet connection.
  • Duration: 4 months – From planning to event completion.
  • Hours per Week: Approximately 4 hours – Flexible, with virtual meetings and independent tasks.
  • Program Prep Locations: University of Calgary, McMaster University, Simon Fraser University, University of Waterloo, University of Toronto

Desired Skills:

  • Passion for celebrating student success and STEM education.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team setting.
  • Experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Access to a reliable internet connection and familiarity with virtual tools email and Zoom.
