Job Description:

  • Volunteer Event Planner – STEM Summer Events
  • Location: Remote - In Canada
  • Duration: 4 months – From planning to event completion.
  • Hours per Week: Approximately 4 hours – Flexible, with virtual meetings and independent tasks.
  • Program Prep Locations: University of Calgary, McMaster University, Simon Fraser University, University of Waterloo, University of Toronto.

Desired Skills:

  • A passion for STEM and making education exciting for students.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working collaboratively in a remote, virtual setting.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.
  • Reliable internet access and familiarity with basic digital tools (email, Zoom).
  • No prior experience is required—just enthusiasm and a desire to learn!
