Job Description:
- Volunteer Event Planner – STEM Summer Events
- Location: Remote - In Canada
- Duration: 4 months – From planning to event completion.
- Hours per Week: Approximately 4 hours – Flexible, with virtual meetings and independent tasks.
- Program Prep Locations: University of Calgary, McMaster University, Simon Fraser University, University of Waterloo, University of Toronto.
Desired Skills:
- A passion for STEM and making education exciting for students.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort working collaboratively in a remote, virtual setting.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.
- Reliable internet access and familiarity with basic digital tools (email, Zoom).
- No prior experience is required—just enthusiasm and a desire to learn!
