Job Description:
- Job Title: Volunteer Director of Technology for STEM Canada’s Technology Institute for children Ages 6 - 17
- Location: Remote
- Hours per Week: Min 4 hours
- Start Date: ASAP
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled in post-secondary education or have a Master’s or PhD a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an academic or professional setting.
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Having experience in faculty management, accreditation procedures, and curriculum creation.
- The ability to interact with a range of stakeholders, such as academics, industry experts, and students.
- A thorough awareness of worldwide education trends
- A strong commitment to mentoring, education, and encouraging innovation.
- Proficiency in forming and overseeing alliances with top academic institutions and business associations.
- A track record of successfully negotiating and formalizing agreements for academic collaborations.
