Job Description:

  • Job Title: Volunteer Director of Coding for STEM Canada’s Coding Institute for children Ages 6 - 17
  • Location: Remote
  • Hours per Week: Min 4 hours
  • Start Date: ASAP

Required Skills:

  • Enrolled in post-secondary education or have a Master’s or PhD a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an academic or professional setting.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Having experience in faculty management, accreditation procedures, and curriculum creation.
  • The ability to interact with a range of stakeholders, such as academics, industry experts, and students.
  • A thorough awareness of worldwide education trends
  • A strong commitment to mentoring, education, and encouraging innovation.
  • Proficiency in forming and overseeing alliances with top academic institutions and business associations.
  • A track record of successfully negotiating and formalizing agreements for academic collaborations.
