The 2025 Summer Employment Opportunities (SEO) Program job ads are now posted on the OPS Careers SEO job board. The Forest Research and Monitoring Section (FRMS) and the Forest Resource Inventory Unit (FRIU) at the Ontario Forest Research Institute (OFRI) will be hiring up to 25 positions through the program:
- Assistant Forest Technician – 16 FRMS and 1 FRI.
- Climate Change Research Assistant – 1
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Assistant – 2 FRMS and 1 FRI.
- Laboratory Assistant – 2
- Chemical Analyst – 1
- Office Assistant – 1
All positions will be based out of Sault Ste. Marie.
