POSITION TITLE: Research Assistant – Literature Review
CLOSING DATE: November 29, 2024
EMPLOYMENT DATES: November 2024 – December 2024 (may be negotiated)
HOURS OF WORK: up to 5 hrs per week
RATE OF PAY: $17.20 per hour + Vacation pay as determined by HR policy
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A faculty member at the school of Nursing is looking for a research assistant at the undergraduate level of studies to conduct a systematic literature review for a study on how faculty and staff at nursing schools are promoting equity in nursing education. Activities for the Research assistant is to conduct a systematic literature review and to present a report of included studies to the study team.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
This position will assist with the following duties:
- Conduct a systematic review of literature on a particular subject of interest
- Meet with PI and Project supervisor to establish parameters of the review
- Present a report on progress using PRISM
- Will work closely with the study team to meet timelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some experience in conducting literature review – systematic literature view
- Some experience or willingness to learn to conduct a systematic review
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program at Nipissing University
