  • PHED-3254 - Special Practical III: Trip Planning
    • Start Date: February 3, 2025 & End Date: March 7, 2025

      Qualifications:

      Educational Background: Minimum university undergraduate degree; preference given to applicants who are familiar with best practices in outdoor education. Outdoor education instructor qualifications are an asset (e.g. ORCKA Canoe Tripping Instructor)

      Work Experience: Demonstrated history of planning and executing safe, sustainable wilderness trips. Ability to teach route planning, risk assessment, navigation, emergency preparedness, and environmental ethics.  
       

  • PHED-2223 - Lacrosse
    • Start Date: January 6, 2025 & End Date: January 31, 2025
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-11:50am

Duties:

  • Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the course
  • Will be available to meet with students 
  • Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures
