Qualifications:
Educational Background: Minimum university undergraduate degree; preference given to applicants who are familiar with best practices in outdoor education. Outdoor education instructor qualifications are an asset (e.g. ORCKA Canoe Tripping Instructor)
Work Experience: Demonstrated history of planning and executing safe, sustainable wilderness trips. Ability to teach route planning, risk assessment, navigation, emergency preparedness, and environmental ethics.

- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-11:50am
Duties:
- Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the course
- Will be available to meet with students
- Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures
