POSITION TITLE: Nursing Lab Skills Student Assistant
CLOSING DATE: January 6, 2025

HOURS OF WORK: approx. 3-6 hours per week
RATE OF PAY: $17.20/hour plus Vacation Pay as determined by HR Policy
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The senior nursing student, year three and above, will support open practice skills lab time for junior year nursing students. These sessions are on Thursdays and Fridays 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm for weeks 2-11 of the winter 2025 semester.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
This position will assist with the following duties:
This role will help support junior students in clinical practice skills. This includes setting up and taking down equipment and providing mentorship in the simulation centre.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3rd or 4th year BScN program at Nipissing University
- Must apply and be approved for the NUWORK Program
