Position Title: Course Instructor
The Faculty of Arts and Science at Nipissing University is seeking qualified course instructors for the 2025 Spring/Summer semester.
Qualifications:
- A PhD or ABD in History or closely related discipline with an expertise in the histories of the Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island
- A Master’s degree in History or closely related discipline
- Appropriate professional/community experience and/or Indigenous knowledge will also be considered
- Postsecondary teaching experience will be considered an asset
Duties:
- Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the portion of the course to which they are assigned
- Will be available to meet with students outside of the official classroom time
- Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures
