Nipissing University’s School of Nursing is seeking qualified clinical instructors for Spring/Summer 2025 (25SS). We invite applications from experienced nursing professionals with a passion for teaching.
Qualifications:
- BScN degree required (master’s degree in nursing considered an asset)
- Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) with no restrictions
- Minimum of two (2) years course related clinical experience
- Minimum of two (2) years previous clinical teaching experience
- Previous experience teaching in an online setting is considered an asset
Duties:
- Responsible for group instruction
- Evaluation of all course assignments including midterm evaluation and final evaluation
- Will be available to meet with students outside of the official classroom time
- Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures

- NSGD-2028 Clinical Practicum: Nursing in Specialized Settings: Mental Health
- NSGD-2029 Clinical Practicum: Nursing in Specialized Settings: Women and Children
- NSGD-2106 Clinical Practicum - RPN to BScN
- NSGD-3026 Clinical Practicum - Family Nursing in Diverse Settings
- (Previous experience with the Calgary Family Assessment Model/Calgary Family Intervention Model)
- NSGD-3027 Clinical Practicum - Nursing Communities and Populations
- (Previous experience managing a health focused group research project)
- NSGD-4026 Clinical Practicum - Advanced Nursing Practice (Prepackaged)
- (Previous experience/employment at the placement agency is an asset)
- NSGD-4027-Clinical Practicum – Preceptorship (Prepackaged)
