Inclined Elevation is an inclined elevator manufacturing company that transforms the hillside experience by crafting the finest lifts available on the market. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality lifts with safety as our top priority. We are currently looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our build team as a seasonal Build Team Labourer for the spring/summer 2025 build season. This is a full time position starting May 1, 2025.
Job Description:
As a Build Team Labourer, you will play a key role in supporting our build team in a variety of tasks on site. You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the job site and ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with lift safety inspections and annual service, repairs, and builds, including some welding work
- Assist with the preparation and cleaning of build sites
- Carry and load materials to and from the site
- Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely
- Support the build team in various tasks such as welding, fabricating, and lifting
- Ensure proper safety measures are followed at all times
- Follow instructions from supervisors and help with other duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction settings is a plus, but not required
- Physical fitness and ability to perform labor-intensive work
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Valid driver’s license (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Health and safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
Desired Skills:
- Ability to prioritize, time management, ask questions and take direction,
- Knowledge of welding/fabrication/construction techniques and electrical/wiring diagrams an asset
