Dr. Herminio Teixeira

​Professor Teixeira's areas of expertise reside in the traditions of western political thought and history, and their encounters with indigenous forms of political thought and action. His research, writing and teaching work today are taken up by the most current research and issues provoked by the traditions of political theology in western, political institutions. Professor Teixeira was born in O Porto, Portugal, and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
