CCUPEKA Student Leadership Award
Presented annually by the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators to a deserving full time BPHE graduate who demonstrates exceptional professionalism and dedication to the field, and one who has made a significant contribution to the BPHE program, the campus, or the greater community. Each student nominated demonstrated leadership, commitment and an ability to motivate and influence others. Nominated students must meet the minimum GPA requirements as determined by the Director of the BPHE program. The recipient receives a framed certificate and will have his/her name engraved on a plaque displayed in the Centre for Physical and Health Education.

Dr. Doug Franks Memorial Award
The award was established by the Schulich School of Education to honour a special colleague and friend, Dr. Doug Franks. The award is presented annually to a graduate of the Bachelor of Education (consecutive or concurrent) program with the intention of entering the Master of Education degree program at Nipissing University. The award recipient should be one who demonstrates care and compassion for fellow learners and who has contributed to the enrichment of the Nipissing community during his or her BEd degree program. The award recipient will self-nominate and be selected by the Schulich School of Education Student Awards Committee.

Manitou Chapter IODE Education Scholarship
Presented to the student with the highest admission average entering the primary/junior division of the Bachelor of Education program at Nipissing University.

Nipissing University Alumni Association Consecutive Education Award
Awarded to a first or second year student maintaining a minimum 70% average in the Consecutive Bachelor of Education degree program (B.Ed.). The recipient must demonstrate financial need.

North Bay Sports Hall of Fame Barbara Olmsted Award
Presented annually to a graduate of Nipissing University's BPHE program who has been accepted in the Masters of Science in Kinesiology at Nipissing University. The recipient should show evidence of outstanding achievement at the undergraduate level with particular emphasis on research potential, community engagement and academic performance. Preference will be given, but not restricted, to students who have demonstrated a commitment to campus and/or community health and wellness. The recipient is selected by a committee comprising MSc Kinesiology faculty, and will be selected as part of the admission process for the program. The award will be paid toward tuition fees for the following fall term, pending confirmation of registration in the MSc Kinesiology program. The Kessler Family Legacy Scholarship
Established by the Kessler family to commemorate Shayla Kessler's legacy as a Laker. The Kessler Family Legacy Scholarship is presented to a female varsity athlete who plays on the Nipissing Women's Volleyball team. The recipient must be enrolled in the Concurrent or Consecutive Bachelor of Education program with a minimum 80% average. CFUWNB Faculty of Education and Professional Studies - School of Education Scholarship
Awarded to a North Bay and Area female student who demonstrates academic proficiency, and who is continuing full time studies in a program within the Schulich School of Education at Nipissing. The recipient exhibits excellent leadership skills, with preference going to a student who also demonstrates a strong work ethic and excellent teaching practices with children.
