Third Annual Amnesty Nipissing Write for Rights Event
My NipissingThis is the third time this event has been held at Nipissing. In each of the previous Write for Rights events, over 50 letters were written by students, staff and faculty in support of prisoners unjustly jailed and subject to torture. -
NU launches silver celebrations
AlumniMy NipissingNipissing University will turn 25 on December 10, 2017, and the party starts now. The university held a launch last Friday to launch a year of celebrations marking its 25th Anniversary as an independent degree granting institution. -
NU raises whiskers and money for Movember
AlumniMy NipissingStudents, staff and faculty at Nipissing University have been celebrating Movember by getting hairy and raising money to help men’s health. The total amount raised was $3,692.85. All proceeds will go to the Movember Foundation Canada. -
Dr. Ells earns writing fellowship at Hawthornden castle

Nipissing University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Barbi Law as Associate Vice-President, Research, Innovation, and Graduate Studies (AVP, RIGS) for a five-year term, effective August 1, 2024. As a member of the University’s leadership team, Dr. Law will play a key role in advancing innovative research, fostering excellence in graduate education, and building relationships with community and industry to grow Nipissing’s research enterprise.
